Structural Design and Analysis

Bristol Harbor Group's structural design services include composite, steel and aluminum structural design utilizing the three dimensional solid modeler, SolidWorks. Detailed structural design can also include Shipyard Support. Structural analysis services include first principles calculations, regulatory body rule calculations, and advanced analyses including finite element analysis using COSMOSWorks.

Hydrostatic and Stability Analysis

Bristol Harbor Group's engineers use Creative System's General HydroStatics (GHS) program for hydrostatic and stability analyses.

Performance Prediction

Bristol Harbor Group utilizes NavCad from HydroComp for performance prediction for both new designs and for repowering existing vessels. NavCad is an integrated propulsion design tool for analysis of resistance, effective power and shaft power
